NAVA VYAKARNA PANDITAR
Lord Hanuman wanted to learn the “Navagraha Tatparyam” from Lord Surya (Sun God). So he approached Lord Surya. Lord Surya said he would teach The Navagraha Tatparya if Hanuman can travel along with him and match his speed. Lord Surya’s vahana (vehicle) is a 7 horse chariot. Lord Hanuman knew this would be a mighty task. So, he prayed to his father, Lord Vayu (Wind God) to help him with this. As the sun travels from East to West he prayed to the wind god to blow from West to East so that Lord Surya’s speed would reduce. When Lord Surya begins his travel he finds his speed slower than usual. He understands Lord Vayu has been helping Hanuman. Nevertheless Lord Surya and Hanuman travel around the world and Lord Surya teaches the Tatparyam to Lord Hanuman. After teaching, Lord Surya says he has taught everything and now it’s time for Hanuman to be judged how well he has learnt the Tatparya. The Thirty Three Crore Devas, Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu, Lord Siva, Lord Rudra and Goddess Ambal are the judges. They give the title “Nava Vyakarna Panditar” to Lord Hanuman.
When a person worships Lord Hanuman and does Pradashana during the below timings, he is relieved from the ill effects of the Navagraha for the day.
